A companhia reportou um preju\u00edzo l\u00edquido de R$ 383 milh\u00f5es, enquanto no mesmo per\u00edodo do ano passado havia sido registrado um <a href=\"https:\/\/www.suno.com.br\/artigos\/lucro-liquido\/\">lucro l\u00edquido<\/a> de R$ 727 mil.<\/p>\t<div class=\"wrapper-featured-image\">\n\t\t<figure class=\"spotlightImg\">\n\n\t\t\t<picture>\n\t\t\t\t<source media=\"(max-width: 768px)\" srcset=\"https:\/\/files.sunoresearch.com.br\/n\/uploads\/2020\/09\/092d0dd3-international-meal-company-meal3-400x200.webp\">\n\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"newsContent__article__imgCapa lazyloadDisabled \" src=\"https:\/\/files.sunoresearch.com.br\/n\/uploads\/2020\/09\/092d0dd3-international-meal-company-meal3-800x450.webp\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" alt=\"IMC (MEAL3) tem preju\u00edzo de R$ 382 milh\u00f5es no 2T20\" fetchpriority=high \/>\n\t\t\t<\/picture>\n\n\t\t\t<figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text wp-caption-text--show\">Embora tenha passado por desafios nos \u00faltimos meses a IMC identifica oportunidades durante a pandemia.<\/figcaption>\n\t\t<\/figure>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"hubspot-form-wrapper\">\n\t<div id=\"single-form-target\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<p>A receita l\u00edquida da IMC, <em>holding<\/em> que controla as opera\u00e7\u00f5es do <strong>Frango Assado<\/strong>, <strong>Pizza Hut<\/strong> e <strong>KFC<\/strong> no Brasil, atingiu R$ 151 milh\u00f5es, uma queda de 62,5% em compara\u00e7\u00e3o ao mesmo per\u00edodo de 2019. O <a href=\"https:\/\/www.suno.com.br\/artigos\/ebitda\/\">Ebitda (lucro antes de juros, impostos, deprecia\u00e7\u00e3o e amortiza\u00e7\u00e3o)<\/a> ajustado foi negativo em R$ 27 milh\u00f5es, revertendo o resultado de R$ 59 milh\u00f5es um ano antes.<\/p>\n<p>A companhia ressaltou que, em fun\u00e7\u00e3o da crise gerada pela pandemia do <a href=\"https:\/\/www.suno.com.br\/noticias\/?s=coronav%C3%ADrus\">novo <strong>coronav\u00edrus<\/strong> (Covid-19)<\/a>, passou a operar com um quadro reduzido de funcion\u00e1rios. Em julho deste ano, o n\u00famero de colaboradores era 50% menor em rela\u00e7\u00e3o a dezembro de 2019; em abril, esse n\u00famero chegou a ser de 32%. Clique para saber mais!<\/a><\/p>\n<p>A empresa pontou, como destaque do trimestre, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.suno.com.br\/artigos\/follow-on\/\">oferta subsequente de a\u00e7\u00f5es (follow-on)<\/a> de pap\u00e9is prim\u00e1rios, realizada no fim de julho, fazendo com que a empresa captasse R$ 372 milh\u00f5es. Foram emitidas 90,4 milh\u00f5es de a\u00e7\u00f5es, possibilitando o fortalecimento do balan\u00e7o da empresa.<\/p>\n<p>Do valor levantado, a empresa espera empregar 50% para constru\u00e7\u00e3o de novas lojas das tr\u00eas grandes marcas que det\u00eam controle, 30% para a aquisi\u00e7\u00e3o de franqueados e 20% para capital de giro.<\/p>\n<h2>D\u00edvida l\u00edquida e oportunidades para a IMC<\/h2>\n<p>Embora tenha passado por desafios nos \u00faltimos meses a IMC identifica oportunidades durante a <strong>pandemia<\/strong>: redu\u00e7\u00e3o do n\u00famero de concorrentes e disponibilidade de pontos bem localizados. &#8220;Cabe destacar que, nos \u00faltimos meses em virtude da pandemia, adicionamos 3 lojas KFC a nossa base que eram de franqueados e estamos em negocia\u00e7\u00e3o com mais 4&#8221;, disse a empresa.<\/p>\n\t<div data-element=\"shortcode-read-more\" class=\"knowMore\">\n\t\t\t\t<span class=\"knowMore__title\">Veja tamb\u00e9m<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t<a class=\"knowMore__link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.suno.com.br\/noticias\/imc-meal3-oferta-publica-de-acoes\/\">\n\t\t\tIMC (MEAL3) prepara oferta prim\u00e1ria de at\u00e9 90,4 milh\u00f5es de a\u00e7\u00f5es\t\t<\/a>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n<p>A<a href=\"https:\/\/www.suno.com.br\/artigos\/divida-liquida\/\"> d\u00edvida l\u00edquida<\/a> da empresa, por sua vez, cresceu mais de 131%, para R$ 416,9 milh\u00f5es. A posi\u00e7\u00e3o de caixa da empresa, em 30 de junho deste ano, era de R$ 200,44 milh\u00f5es.
