O in\u00edcio das opera\u00e7\u00f5es da marca, entretanto, ainda necessita da aprova\u00e7\u00e3o do \u00f3rg\u00e3o anti-truste dos Estados Unidos.<\/p>\n<p>O aval do Cade se deu em raz\u00e3o das participa\u00e7\u00f5es de mercado de Marfrig e <strong>ADM <\/strong>no segmento que se encontra serem inferiores a 20%. A nova empresa tem sede em Chicago e consiste em uma amplia\u00e7\u00e3o de uma parceria que foi realizada no ano passado, quando a ADM come\u00e7ou a fornecer ingredientes vegetais que possuem sabor e textura da carne para a Marfrig. A empresa brasileira, ent\u00e3o, produzia os alimentos em V\u00e1rzea Grande, no Mato Grosso. Ap\u00f3s o in\u00edcio desta produ\u00e7\u00e3o, os produtos passaram a ser comercializados no Brasil.<\/p>\n<p>O hamb\u00farguer vegetal permanecer\u00e1 sendo produzido na unidade de V\u00e1rzea Grande. Entretanto, nos EUA, a Marfrig ainda n\u00e3o possui o segmento de prote\u00ednas vegetais. Dessa forma, a PlantPlus ir\u00e1 utilizar ingredientes e aromas produzidos em unidades da ADM no pa\u00eds norte-americano.<\/p>\n<p>Na Am\u00e9rica do Sul e no varejo norte-americano, o mercado de prote\u00ednas vegetais possui potencial para atingir US$ 2 bilh\u00f5es, de acordo com informa\u00e7\u00f5es da ADM.<\/p>\n<h2>Lucro da Marfrig no 2T20<\/h2>\n<p>A <b>Marfrig <\/b>divulgou, no dia 12 de agosto, os resultados do segundo trimestre de 2020.
