Analistas de Wall Street esperavam um resultado significativamente menor, de um lucro ajustado de US$ 0,26 <span style=\"font-size: 1.21429rem;\">por a\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>O lucro da unidade de bancos comerciais da institui\u00e7\u00e3o caiu 98%, pois o <strong>coronav\u00edrus (covid-19)<\/strong> levou ao fechamento de grande parte da economia dos EUA e fez com que dezenas de milh\u00f5es de americanos perdessem seus empregos. Com isso, a empresa alocou US$ 5,1 bilh\u00f5es para <a href=\"https:\/\/www.suno.com.br\/artigos\/provisao-para-devedores-duvidosos\/\">Provis\u00f5es para Devedores Duvidosos (<strong>PDD<\/strong>)<\/a> no segundo trimestre, o m\u00e1ximo desde 2010. Apesar de uma alta de cerca de 50% nessa atividade, o banco obteve resultados menores que os seus concorrentes.<\/p>\n<p>A receita total, de US$ 22,3 bilh\u00f5es, significou uma queda com rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao ano passado, por\u00e9m foi maior que o esperado por analistas, que previam US$ 21,9 bilh\u00f5es. O lucro l\u00edquido da unidade de mercados globais do banco teve alta de 81%, para US$ 1,9 bilh\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<h1 class=\"entry-title typescale-5\">Bancos dos EUA se preparam para novas turbul\u00eancias devido ao covid-19<\/h1>\n<p>Tr\u00eas dos maiores <strong>bancos<\/strong> dos EUA divulgaram nesta ter\u00e7a-feira (14) que reservaram um total de US$ 28 bilh\u00f5es <a href=\"https:\/\/www.suno.com.br\/artigos\/provisao-para-contingencias\/\">em provis\u00f5es para cobrir poss\u00edveis perdas com empr\u00e9stimos<\/a> no segundo trimestre de 2020.
