Nomeado pelo presidente Donald Trump, o mandat\u00e1rio do FED tamb\u00e9m ofereceu uma opini\u00e3o voltada ao alargamento monet\u00e1rio sobre as principais caracter\u00edsticas da prov\u00e1vel eleva\u00e7\u00e3o da taxa de juros em dezembro, a quarta alta do ano.<\/p>\n<p>Clarida n\u00e3o concordou, no entanto, com a no\u00e7\u00e3o de que o banco federal americano est\u00e1 subindo os juros muito rapidamente \u2013 uma cr\u00edtica repetida diversas vezes pelo presidente americano. Clarida demonstrou recuo em seus coment\u00e1rios sobre declara\u00e7\u00f5es que o presidente do FED, Jerome Powell, fez algumas semanas atr\u00e1s, quando disse que o juro real est\u00e1 distante de um ponto neutro (aquele que n\u00e3o retrai nem estimula a economia).
