Em fevereiro de 2018, o <strong>Cade<\/strong> aprovou a opera\u00e7\u00e3o sem restri\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/p>\n<p>O Cade instaurou o processo administrativo para analisar tr\u00eas procederes das companhias. O primeiro \u00e9 a cria\u00e7\u00e3o de normas espec\u00edficas no \u00e2mbito do <strong>Programa Monsoy Multiplica (PMM)<\/strong> pelo Grupo Monsanto, que atua no melhoramento gen\u00e9tico de sementes de soja.<\/p>\n<p>O segundo refere-se \u00e0 concess\u00e3o, pela Monsanto, de incentivos comerciais e obtentores para determinadas tecnologias de <em>breending incentives<\/em>. E o terceiro refere-se \u00e0 obriga\u00e7\u00e3o imposta pela Monsanto de que os multiplicadores de sementes adquiram um volume m\u00ednimo de 15% de sementes matrizes em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 sua \u00e1rea de produ\u00e7\u00e3o. Embora tenha sido apurado que a Monsanto n\u00e3o exigiu o cumprimento da cl\u00e1usula, a empresa teria benef\u00edcios caso o fizesse.<\/p>\n<p>Com a implementa\u00e7\u00e3o do processo investigativo, a <strong>Bayer<\/strong> e a Monsanto ser\u00e3o notificadas para a apresenta\u00e7\u00e3o de suas defesas.
