Segundo Tolda, esses recursos ajudar\u00e3o o Mercado Livre a aumentar sua efici\u00eancia log\u00edstica e, dessa forma, reduzir os prazos de entrega de encomendas. Al\u00e9m disso, segundo o executivo, ser\u00e1 ampliado o card\u00e1pio de servi\u00e7os financeiros.<\/p>\n<p>Entretanto, mesmo com esse aumento, a empresa aumentar\u00e1 o foco na rentabilidade. Segundo Tolda, o objetivo \u00e9 concluir 2020 com um resultado mais pr\u00f3ximo do lucro. \u201cN\u00e3o estamos dispostos a investir a qualquer pre\u00e7o, com margens negativas\u201d, declarou Tolda.<\/p>\n<h2>Mercado Livre maior portal da Am\u00e9rica Latina<\/h2>\n<p>O Mercado Livre \u00e9 atualmente o maior portal de com\u00e9rcio eletr\u00f4nico da Am\u00e9rica Latina. A empresa sediada na Argentina continua registrando forte crescimento das receitas na regi\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.suno.com.br\/noticias\/mercado-livre-emprestimo-us-125-mi-goldman-sachs\/\">Saiba mais: Mercado Livre recebe empr\u00e9stimo de US$ 125 mi do Goldman Sachs<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Segundo a pr\u00f3pria empresa, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.suno.com.br\/artigos\/o-que-receita-liquida\/\">receita l\u00edquida<\/a> no quarto trimestre 2019 subiu para US$ 674,3 milh\u00f5es (cerca de US$ 2,8 bilh\u00f5es). Um crescimento de 57,5% em d\u00f3lar e de 84,4% em moeda constante em rela\u00e7\u00e3o a 2018.<\/p>\n<p>O <strong>volume de vendas<\/strong> (GMV, na sigla em ingl\u00eas) chegou a US$ 3,9 bilh\u00f5es, um crescimento de 19,7% em d\u00f3lar. O n\u00famero de compradores \u00fanicos cresceu 26,7% no trimestre, contra 25,7% de crescimento registrando no terceiro trimestre.<\/p>\n<h2>Mercado pago cresce 63,5% em 2019<\/h2>\n<p>Por sua vez, o volume total de pagamentos com o Mercado Pago chegou a US$ 8,7 bilh\u00f5es. Um crescimento de 63,5% em d\u00f3lar. A base de usu\u00e1rios da carteira cresceu 29,4% na base sequencial, alcan\u00e7ando 7,9 milh\u00f5es de pagadores ativos.<\/p>\n<p>Entretanto, o <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.suno.com.br\/artigos\/prejuizos-acumulados\/\">preju\u00edzo<\/a> <\/strong>do Mercado Livre cresceu mais de 20 vezes no quarto trimestre em rela\u00e7\u00e3o a um ano antes, alcan\u00e7ando US$ 54 milh\u00f5es. No acumulado de 2019, o vermelho quase dobrou, chegando US$ 72 milh\u00f5es.<\/p>\n<p>Um resultado negativo gerado pelo aumento da concorr\u00eancia, que levou os operadores de com\u00e9rcio eletr\u00f4nico e de produtos financeiros a aumentar suas despesas com marketing e com subs\u00eddios a clientes.<\/p>\n<p>Todavia, segundo Tolda, as despesas com marketing nos pr\u00f3ximos trimestres dever\u00e3o ser menores do que aquelas registradas em 2019.
