A institui\u00e7\u00e3o come\u00e7ou a operar na segunda metade do ano seguinte (2019). Na \u00e9poca, a corretora ainda tinha uma forte rela\u00e7\u00e3o com o <a class=\"suno-keyword\" target=\"_blank\" data-force=\"yes\" data-priority=\"2\" href=\"https:\/\/www.suno.com.br\/acoes\/ITUB4\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Ita\u00fa (ITUB4)<\/a>, que era detentor de quase metade (49%) do seu capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No balan\u00e7o do terceiro trimestre de 2023, o <a class=\"suno-keyword\" data-force=\"no\" data-priority=\"1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.suno.com.br\/artigos\/lucro-liquido\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">lucro l\u00edquido<\/a> da companhia foi de R$ 1,087 bilh\u00e3o (+5% em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao mesmo per\u00edodo de 2022). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No varejo, a <a class=\"suno-keyword\" target=\"_blank\" data-force=\"no\" data-priority=\"1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.suno.com.br\/artigos\/receita-total\/\" rel=\"noopener\">receita total<\/a> equivalia mais e R$ 3,179 bilh\u00f5es, cerca de R$ 2,270 bilh\u00f5es (71,4%) provenientes das atividades da corretora, como negocia\u00e7\u00f5es em renda vari\u00e1vel, renda fixa, plataforma de fundos e previd\u00eancia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por outro lado, 10,8% da receita (R$ 344 milh\u00f5es) originaram de atividades associadas ao setor banc\u00e1rio, como cart\u00f5es, cr\u00e9dito e seguros. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para al\u00e9m do varejo, o<strong> Banco XP<\/strong> tamb\u00e9m teve participa\u00e7\u00e3o na receita institucional e demais categorias, como receitas institucionais (R$ 396 milh\u00f5es), outras receitas (R$ 281 milh\u00f5es) e receitas de grandes empresas e mercados de capitais (R$ 519 milh\u00f5es).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A mudan\u00e7a da estrutura organizacional da <strong>XP Investimentos <\/strong>e o banco do mesmo grupo em tese poder\u00e1 gerar algumas altera\u00e7\u00f5es relevantes para a institui\u00e7\u00e3o, como mudan\u00e7as regulat\u00f3rias e de exig\u00eancia de capital. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A XP atualmente \u00e9 classificada pelo Banco Central como estando na categoria S3, com R$ 233,4 bilh\u00f5es em ativos.
