Segundo o executivo, a marca &#8220;Smart tem um valor \u00fanico e influ\u00eancia global, que cresceu e se tornou l\u00edder em mobilidade urbana&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>A prov\u00edncia de Zhejiang, na China, onde est\u00e1 situada a Geely, abrigar\u00e1 a sede mundial da Smart. Todas as opera\u00e7\u00f5es internacionais da Smart ser\u00e3o controladas pela nova companhia. Al\u00e9m disso, a <strong>joint venture<\/strong> ser\u00e1 respons\u00e1vel pela pesquisa e desenvolvimento da marca, al\u00e9m da manufatura. Os centros de distribui\u00e7\u00e3o ser\u00e3o levantados na China e na Alemanha.<\/p>\n<p>O <a href=\"https:\/\/www.suno.com.br\/artigos\/conselho-administracao\/\">Conselho de Administra\u00e7\u00e3o<\/a> ser\u00e1 composto por seis diretores, tr\u00eas de cada empresa. Posteriormente, um executivo da Geely ser\u00e1 o executivo-chefe (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.suno.com.br\/artigos\/ceo\/\">CEO<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Em 2018, foi revelado que uma empresa de investimento conectada a Li investiu aproximadamente US$ 9 bilh\u00f5es na participa\u00e7\u00e3o de quase 10% na Daimler. A Geely pode estar interessada na tecnologia alem\u00e3, incluindo baterias e dire\u00e7\u00e3o aut\u00f4noma.<\/p>\n<h2>Hist\u00f3rico<\/h2>\n<p>A Geely foi fundada em 1986, fabricando componentes para geladeiras e outros aparelhos.
