Com isso, a saudita Manara Minerals e a americana Engine No. 1 v\u00e3o pagar US$ 3,4 bilh\u00f5es e passar\u00e3o a deter 13% da VBM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A&nbsp;<strong>Manara,<\/strong>&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.suno.com.br\/artigos\/joint-venture\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">joint venture<\/a>&nbsp;saudita entre o&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.suno.com.br\/artigos\/fundo-soberano\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">fundo soberano<\/a>&nbsp;PIF e a&nbsp;<strong>mineradora Ma\u2019aden<\/strong>, far\u00e1 o maior aporte, cerca de US$ 2,6 bilh\u00f5es e, consequentemente, pegar\u00e1 a principal fatia (10%) do neg\u00f3cio. J\u00e1 a&nbsp;<strong>Engine No. 1&nbsp;<\/strong>deter\u00e1 uma participa\u00e7\u00e3o de 3%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Segundo a Vale, a parceria estrat\u00e9gica na&nbsp;<strong>unidade de metais b\u00e1sicos<\/strong>&nbsp;ir\u00e1 acelerar o crescimento da VBM, apoiando a transi\u00e7\u00e3o energ\u00e9tica global. \u201cCom nosso portf\u00f3lio de alta qualidade, estamos posicionados de maneira \u00fanica para atender \u00e0 crescente demanda por metais verdes essenciais \u00e0 transi\u00e7\u00e3o energ\u00e9tica global, ao passo que continuamos comprometidos com pr\u00e1ticas socioambientais robustas e com a minera\u00e7\u00e3o sustent\u00e1vel\u201d, afirma e Eduardo Bartolomeo,<strong>&nbsp;CEO da Vale<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A mineradora projeta que, ao longo da pr\u00f3xima d\u00e9cada, a&nbsp;<strong>VBM&nbsp;<\/strong>invista cerca de US$ 25 a 30 bilh\u00f5es em projetos minerais estrat\u00e9gicos, possibilitando um potencial aumento de produ\u00e7\u00e3o significativo em cobre de cerca de 350 kt\/ano para 900 kt\/ano e em n\u00edquel de cerca de 175 kt\/ano para mais de 300 kt\/ano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Robert Wilt, diretor executivo da Manara Minerals, afirma que a parceria visa o\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.suno.com.br\/artigos\/longo-prazo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">longo prazo<\/a>. A Manara Minerals traz investimento de\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.suno.com.br\/artigos\/longo-prazo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">longo prazo<\/a>, experi\u00eancia em minera\u00e7\u00e3o e conhecimento profundo do setor, e atuar\u00e1 como parceiro estrat\u00e9gico chave na resili\u00eancia da cadeia global de suprimentos e nos esfor\u00e7os de transi\u00e7\u00e3o energ\u00e9tica\u201d, diz o executivo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Lucro recuou 78% no 2T23, para US$ 892 milh\u00f5es, com queda do min\u00e9rio de ferro<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A&nbsp;<strong>Vale&nbsp;<\/strong>(VALE3) reportou&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.suno.com.br\/artigos\/lucro-liquido\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">lucro l\u00edquido<\/a>&nbsp;de US$ 892 milh\u00f5es no segundo trimestre, valor que representa uma queda de 78% em um ano, se comparado aos US$ 4,093 bilh\u00f5es registrados no mesmo per\u00edodo de 2022. O resultado reflete os pre\u00e7os menores do min\u00e9rio de ferro no mercado internacional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Em seu documento de&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.suno.com.br\/artigos\/demonstracoes-financeiras\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">demonstra\u00e7\u00f5es financeiras<\/a>, a Vale tamb\u00e9m culpou a maior aprecia\u00e7\u00e3o do real diante do d\u00f3lar no per\u00edodo, somado aos pre\u00e7os menores do&nbsp;<strong>min\u00e9rio de ferro&nbsp;<\/strong>e do n\u00edquel e algumas provis\u00f5es tribut\u00e1rias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A queda de patamar dos pre\u00e7os provocou baixa de US$ 1,34 bilh\u00e3o somente no lucro da&nbsp;<strong>Vale no 2T23<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O impacto da combina\u00e7\u00e3o pre\u00e7o e c\u00e2mbio tamb\u00e9m foi sentido nos outros&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.suno.com.br\/artigos\/indicadores-financeiros\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">indicadores financeiros<\/a>. A&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.suno.com.br\/artigos\/o-que-receita-liquida\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">receita l\u00edquida<\/a>&nbsp;da Vale<\/strong>&nbsp;somou US$ 9,6 bilh\u00f5es, um recuo de 13% na compara\u00e7\u00e3o com o 2\u00ba trimestre de 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No comunicado, a Vale explica que o resultado foi influenciado tamb\u00e9m pela menor&nbsp;<a
