De acordo com a <strong>Afya<\/strong>, a empresa comprada teve receita de R$ 108 milh\u00f5es.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.suno.com.br\/noticias\/grupo-santander-compra-ebury-350-milhoes-de-libras\/\">Veja tamb\u00e9m: Grupo Santander compra 50,1% da Ebury por 350 milh\u00f5es de libras<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Do total do valor a ser pago pelo acordo, R$ 125 milh\u00f5es ser\u00e3o pagos \u00e0 vista e R$ 100 milh\u00f5es em cinco parcelas divididas no mesmo valor at\u00e9 junho de 2024. O neg\u00f3cio ir\u00e1 somar 112 novas vagas em Medicina, de acordo com a Afya, alavancando o total de vagas do grupo para 1.684.<\/p>\n<h2>Sobre a Afya<\/h2>\n<p>A Afya foi criada pela uni\u00e3o da <strong>NRE Educacional,<\/strong> maior grupo de faculdade de medicina do Brasil, e da <strong>Medcel,<\/strong> marca de cursos digitais preparat\u00f3rios para provas de resid\u00eancia m\u00e9dica.\u00a0A empresa surgiu quando o ministro da Economia, Paulo Guedes, fazia parte do fundo <strong>Bozano<\/strong> (atual Crescera), que mant\u00eam participa\u00e7\u00e3o no neg\u00f3cio junto a fam\u00edlia Esteves, controladora da empresa. Na ocasi\u00e3o, j\u00e1 havia rumores de que a empresa estaria negociando com grupos de ensino superior focados em medicina.<\/p>\n<h2>Grupo Redentor de Ensino<\/h2>\n<p>O <strong>Grupo Redentor de Ensino<\/strong> possui sua sede situada em Itaperuna, no Rio de Janeiro. A faculdade Redentor foi criada em meados dos anos 90, entretanto s\u00f3 foi reconhecida pelo MEC como institui\u00e7\u00e3o de Ensino Superior em mar\u00e7o de 2002. O campus principal da empresa, localizado em Itaperuna, possui 21 cursos de gradua\u00e7\u00e3o, 7 cursos t\u00e9cnicos e 30 cursos de p\u00f3s-gradua\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>Al\u00e9m disso, a faculdade conta com tr\u00eas cursos de gradua\u00e7\u00e3o a dist\u00e2ncia, e possui, em parceria com outras institui\u00e7\u00f5es, cursos presenciais de p\u00f3s-gradua\u00e7\u00e3o em mais de 30 munic\u00edpios.
