Al\u00e9m disso, a empresa fundada por <a href=\"https:\/\/www.suno.com.br\/artigos\/steve-jobs-seria-o-maior-financista-da-historia\/\">Steve Jobs<\/a> ir\u00e1 obter direitos sobre 17 mil patentes no segmento de comunica\u00e7\u00e3o sem fio.<\/p>\n\n<p>No ano passado, a Intel se tornou a \u00fanica fornecedora de modems para iPhone da <strong>Apple<\/strong> ap\u00f3s uma longa disputa entre a empresa de Cupertino e a <strong>Qualcomm,<\/strong> sua fornecedora anterior.<\/p>\n<p>Entretanto, em abril a Apple chegou a um acordo com a <strong>Qualcomm,<\/strong> e os <strong>iPhones<\/strong> voltaram a utilizar seus modems. Por isso, a Intel decidiu abandonar o segmento e sair do mercado de microprocessadores para 5G.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.suno.com.br\/noticias\/apple-prestes-a-comprar-os-processadores-de-smartphones-da-intel\/\">Saiba mais: Apple prestes a comprar os processadores de smartphones da Intel\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p>O motivo de disputa com a <strong>Qualcomm<\/strong> devia-se por valores de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.suno.com.br\/artigos\/royalties\/\"><strong>royalties<\/strong> <\/a>com o uso dos microprocessadores. Em 2017, a <strong>Apple <\/strong>pediu US$ 1 bilh\u00e3o par a Qualcomm por causa das sobrecargas nos aparelhos. A produtora do iPhone ter\u00e1 dessa forma acesso ao trabalho de engenharia da Intel, economizando potencialmente anos de trabalho de desenvolvimento.<\/p>\n<h2>Desenvolvimento de microprocessadores<\/h2>\n<p>A <strong>Apple<\/strong> est\u00e1 trabalhado para desenvolver microprocessadores para diferenciar ainda mais seus produtos. O objetivo \u00e9 diferenciar o <strong>iPhone<\/strong> da concorr\u00eancia. O <strong>smartphone<\/strong> \u00e9 o produto que, h\u00e1 muito tempo, sustenta os lucros da empresa.<\/p>\n<p>Para levar adiante esse processo de pesquisa e desenvolvimento, a Apple contratou recentemente engenheiros, incluindo alguns da <strong>Intel.<\/strong> A empresa chegou a anunciar planos para um escrit\u00f3rio de 1.200 funcion\u00e1rios em San Diego.<\/p>\n<p>Por sua vez, para a Intel, um acordo permitiria se livrar de uma divis\u00e3o que estava pesando nos resultados.
