O Banco Central<\/a> <\/strong>(BC) informou, por meio de um comunicado em seu site, nesta segunda-feira (24) as estat\u00edsticas do setor externo<\/strong>. De acordo com o Banco, os investimentos<\/strong> <\/a>diretos no Brasil<\/strong> registraram mais do que o dobro em maio deste ano, comparado com o mesmo per\u00edodo no ano anterior.<\/p>\t

Conforme o BC<\/strong> os Investimentos Diretos no Pa\u00eds<\/strong> (IPD) registraram aumento de US$ 4,1 bilh\u00f5es quando comparado com o ano passado, esse valor corresponde a US$ 7,1 bilh\u00f5es. No acumulado anual, o valor l\u00edquido<\/strong> de IDP teve aumento de 30,7%, total de US$35, 1 bilh\u00f5es. No ano passado foi registrado US$ 26,9 bilh\u00f5es.<\/p>\n

Por sua vez, as sa\u00eddas l\u00edquidas<\/strong> em maio foi de US$ 285 milh\u00f5es em instrumentos de portf\u00f3lios negociados no mercado dom\u00e9stico<\/strong>. De acordo com o relat\u00f3rio do BC<\/strong>, foi registrado at\u00e9 o quinto m\u00eas deste ano\u00a0entradas l\u00edquidas<\/strong> de US$ 9,7 bilh\u00f5es em instrumentos, devido ao fluxos positivos<\/strong> em t\u00edtulos<\/a> d\u00edvida<\/strong>, US$ 12,1 bilh\u00f5es.<\/p>\n

Resultados<\/h2>\n

Por sua vez, as transa\u00e7\u00f5es correntes<\/strong> totalizou US$ 662 milh\u00f5es, embora o valor seja positivo, esse n\u00famero \u00e9 26,4% menor do que registrado no mesmo per\u00edodo no ano anterior, US$ 900 milh\u00f5es.<\/p>\n

No acumulado dos 12 meses, a conta corrente<\/strong> registrou d\u00e9ficit de US$ 7,576 bilh\u00f5es. Embora seja baixo, esse valor representa uma melhora quando comparado com o 2018, que havia registrado d\u00e9ficit<\/strong> de US$ 8,162 bilh\u00f5es. Em compara\u00e7\u00e3o com o m\u00eas anterior, as transa\u00e7\u00f5es correntes<\/strong> registraram aumento de US$ 13,7 bilh\u00f5es para US$ 13,9 bilh\u00f5es.<\/p>\n

A estimativa do Banco Central<\/strong> era de que o Brasil<\/strong> encerrasse o ano com rombo de US$ 30 bilh\u00f5es em transa\u00e7\u00f5es correntes<\/strong>. Conforme o BC, a proje\u00e7\u00e3o ser\u00e1 revisada para o pr\u00f3ximo relat\u00f3rio que ser\u00e1 divulgado na pr\u00f3xima quinta-feira (27).<\/p>\n

As exporta\u00e7\u00f5es de bens<\/strong> em maio totalizaram US$ 21,2 bilh\u00f5es, aumento de 10,5% em compara\u00e7\u00e3o com o ano passado. Por sua vez, as importa\u00e7\u00f5es de bens<\/strong> alcan\u00e7aram US$ 15,5 bilh\u00f5es, alta de 13,9%.<\/p>\n

Investimento Internacional<\/h2>\n

A Posi\u00e7\u00e3o de Investimento Internacional<\/strong> (PII), tem como base os ativos<\/strong><\/a> e passivos financeiros<\/strong><\/a> entre residentes e n\u00e3o residentes no pa\u00eds. De acordo com o BC<\/strong>, a “diferen\u00e7a entre esses estoques \u00e9 denominada PII l\u00edquida<\/strong>, com valores negativos expressando o maior volume de investimentos de n\u00e3o residente realizados no Pa\u00eds, quando comparados aos efetuados no exterior por residentes”.<\/p>\n
