A Microsoft<\/strong> (MSFT34<\/a>) divulgou nesta ter\u00e7a-feira (25) seus resultados obtidos no segundo trimestre fiscal, equivalente ao quarto trimestre de 2021, com ganhos e receitas acima do esperado. Mesmo assim, o mercado respondeu de forma negativa e as a\u00e7\u00f5es caem 4,03% no after-hours de Nova York.<\/p>\t

Segundo o balan\u00e7o da big tech<\/a>, o lucro l\u00edquido<\/a> alcan\u00e7ou US$ 18,77 bilh\u00f5es<\/strong>, alta de 21% comparado ao mesmo per\u00edodo no ano anterior. Enquanto isso, o lucro por a\u00e7\u00e3o<\/a> obtido no \u00faltimo trimestre do ano foi de US$ 2,48. A expectativa do mercado, segundo a Refinitiv, era de US$ 2,31.<\/p>\n

J\u00e1 a receita da Microsoft<\/strong> atingiu US$ 51,73 bilh\u00f5es, contra o consenso de US$ 50,88 bilh\u00f5es do mercado. A receita aumentou 20% quando comparada ao mesmo per\u00edodo em 2020. J\u00e1 na compara\u00e7\u00e3o com o terceiro trimestre, o crescimento foi de 22%.<\/p>\n

O balan\u00e7o da companhia foi impulsionado pela alta demanda de seus produtos de servi\u00e7os de nuvem<\/strong>, que comp\u00f5em o maior segmento da empresa. A receita dos servi\u00e7os em nuvem, com destaque para o Azure<\/strong>, sua principal oferta nesse setor, cresceu 26% e gerou US$ 18,33 bilh\u00f5es em receita. O pacote Office 365<\/strong>, por sua vez, aumentou 19% no trimestre.<\/p>\n\t

Os \u00faltimos consoles lan\u00e7ados pela companhia (Xbox<\/strong> Series X e Series S) completaram seu primeiro ano em dezembro \u00faltimo, com um aumento de 4% na receita, bem longe do resultado obtido no trimestre anterior (166%).<\/p>\n
