O Bank of America (BofA) decidiu elevar sua recomenda\u00e7\u00e3o de neutra para compra para a M\u00e9liuz<\/strong> (CASH3)<\/a>, mesmo ap\u00f3s a companhia de cashbacks anotar um preju\u00edzo de R$ 2,95 milh\u00f5es no terceiro trimestre, revertendo lucro de R$ 4,733 milh\u00f5es do mesmo per\u00edodo de 2020.<\/p>\t

Por outro lado, o BofA<\/strong> reduziu o pre\u00e7o-alvo para a a\u00e7\u00e3o do M\u00e9liuz (CASH3)<\/strong> de R$ 9 para R$ 7,20, com a piora no cen\u00e1rio macroecon\u00f4mico. No fechamento desta quinta (18), as a\u00e7\u00f5es da M\u00e9liuz fecharam em alta de 10,22%, cotadas a R$ 4,10.<\/p>\n

Em relat\u00f3rio assinado por Fred Mendes, Mirela Oliveira e Gustavo Tiseo, o banco explica que a companhia viu seu n\u00famero de funcion\u00e1rios crescer de 140 em seu IPO, realizado em novembro de 2020<\/a>, para 800 ao final de setembro de 2021.<\/p>\n\t

O BofA acredita que “essa r\u00e1pida expans\u00e3o traz diversos desafios, principalmente relacionados \u00e0 sua cultura.” E pondera: “Por\u00e9m, a maior parte da expans\u00e3o j\u00e1 aconteceu e hoje v\u00e1rios de seus novos funcion\u00e1rios est\u00e3o trabalhando em novos produtos que ainda n\u00e3o geram receita. Al\u00e9m disso, damos as boas-vindas ao curto, mas forte hist\u00f3rico de execu\u00e7\u00e3o da Meliuz, juntamente com uma avalia\u00e7\u00e3o atraente, levando \u00e0 nossa classifica\u00e7\u00e3o de compra de neutra com um novo pre\u00e7o-alvo de R$ 7,20.”<\/p>\n

Os analistas veem o Meliuz mais forte hoje do que em seu IPO, “com um hist\u00f3rico de execu\u00e7\u00e3o r\u00e1pido, mas forte, junto com M&A e mais talento adicionado \u00e0 equipe. Acreditamos que a Meliuz se moveu na dire\u00e7\u00e3o certa ao lan\u00e7ar seu pr\u00f3prio cart\u00e3o.”<\/p>\n\t

M\u00e9liuz tem preju\u00edzo de R$ 2,95 mi no 3T21<\/h2>\n

A M\u00e9liuz registrou um preju\u00edzo de R$ 2,95 milh\u00f5es entre julho e setembro, revertendo lucro de R$ 4,733 milh\u00f5es do mesmo per\u00edodo de 2020.<\/p>\n

No terceiro trimestre de 2021, o Ebitda foi de R$ 9,3 milh\u00f5es negativos, majoritariamente explicado pelo aumento das despesas na linha de pessoal, o que est\u00e1 em linha com a estrat\u00e9gia da empresa, informou a M\u00e9liuz no comunicado que acompanha o balan\u00e7o, cujo extrato n\u00e3o traz o Ebitda do terceiro trimestre de 2020 para efeito de compara\u00e7\u00e3o. No segundo trimestre de 2021, contudo, o Ebitda foi de R$ 7,2 milh\u00f5es.<\/p>\n\t

\n\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t<\/picture>\n\t\t<\/a>\n\t<\/p>\n\n\n

O Ebitda ajustado<\/a> consolidado de julho a setembro deste ano ficou negativo em R$ 9,9 milh\u00f5es. A empresa n\u00e3o divulgou o montante apurado em outros trimestres.<\/p>\n

A receita l\u00edquida<\/a> da M\u00e9liuz<\/strong> subiu para R$ 58,7 milh\u00f5es, aumento de 8% na compara\u00e7\u00e3o imediata com o segundo trimestre do ano, quando a empresa alcan\u00e7ou R$ 54,5 milh\u00f5es, crescimento de 129% contra o mesmo per\u00edodo do ano anterior.<\/p>\n
