Podemos nunca partir\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>May se referiu a tentativa fracassada de aprovar um acordo sobre o <strong>Brexit,<\/strong> rejeitado pelo <strong>Parlamento<\/strong> brit\u00e2nico em janeiro. A proposta apresentada pelo seu governo foi rejeitada com uma diferen\u00e7a de votos recorde, superior a 230.<\/p>\n<p>A partir dessa derrota, a primeira-ministra tentou obter concess\u00f5es por parte da <strong>Uni\u00e3o Europeia.<\/strong> Principalmente sobre a quest\u00e3o delicada da fronteira da <strong>Irlanda<\/strong> com a <strong>Irlanda do Norte,<\/strong> regi\u00e3o do <strong>Reino Unido.<\/strong>\u00a0Nesta sexta, <strong>May<\/strong>\u00a0voltou a pedir ajuda aos l\u00edderes europeus para evitar mais incertezas.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Agora \u00e9 o momento para agirmos&#8221;, disse May. &#8220;\u00c9 preciso apenas mais um empurr\u00e3o para abordar as preocupa\u00e7\u00f5es espec\u00edficas finais do nosso Parlamento\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.suno.com.br\/noticias\/uniao-europeia-may-brexit-debate\/\">Saiba mais: Uni\u00e3o Europeia aceita debater exig\u00eancias de May para acordo do Brexit\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Entenda o caso<\/h2>\n<p>Em junho de 2016 o <strong>Reino Unido<\/strong> votou em um referendum para sair da <strong>Uni\u00e3o Europeia.<\/strong> O pa\u00eds era membro do bloco desde 1975. A inten\u00e7\u00e3o de sair foi notificada formalmente no dia 29 de mar\u00e7o de 2017 para as autoridades de Bruxelas.<\/p>\n<p>Segundo o <strong>Tratado de Lisboa,<\/strong> que define o funcionamento da <strong>UE,<\/strong> um pa\u00eds que decide sair tem dois anos para negociar os termos para deixar a Uni\u00e3o. Por isso, o <strong>Reino Unido<\/strong> tem at\u00e9 o dia 29 de mar\u00e7o deste ano para alcan\u00e7ar um acordo com <strong>Bruxelas.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Entretanto, h\u00e1 uma s\u00e9rie de quest\u00f5es complexas que deixam esse processo turbulento.
