No documento divulgado nesta quinta, o Tesouro americano afirma que o uso das moedas digitais representa um “problema” para a detec\u00e7\u00e3o de evas\u00e3o de impostos. “Apesar de constitu\u00edrem uma por\u00e7\u00e3o relativamente pequena da receita de neg\u00f3cios hoje, as transa\u00e7\u00f5es de criptomoeda provavelmente aumentar\u00e3o em import\u00e2ncia na pr\u00f3xima d\u00e9cada, especialmente na presen\u00e7a de um regime de relat\u00f3rios de contas financeiras de base ampla”, diz o comunicado.<\/p>\n

Trata-se da segunda ofensiva consecutiva de governos \u00e0s moedas digitais. Nesta quarta-feira (19), a China proibiu bancos e empresas de servi\u00e7os financeiros de hospedarem qualquer tipo de transa\u00e7\u00e3o envolvendo as criptomoedas. O Bitcoin chegou a cair mais de 30%, apagando os ganhos acumulados em praticamente todo 2021.<\/p>\n
