A JBS (JBSS3)<\/a> anunciou nessa quarta-feira (14) que investir\u00e1 R$ 1,7 bilh\u00e3o em sete unidades localizadas no Rio Grande do Sul, em evento com a participa\u00e7\u00e3o do governador ga\u00facho Eduardo Leite (PSDB), secret\u00e1rios e deputados estaduais.<\/p>\t

Segundo a JBS, os recursos ser\u00e3o destinados \u00e0 expans\u00e3o e melhorias em suas unidades<\/strong>, com objetivo de atender as demandas dos mercados interno e externo, tanto para produ\u00e7\u00e3o de prote\u00edna in natura<\/em> como de alimentos preparados.<\/p>\n

“\u00c9 um investimento robusto<\/strong>, em metade das nossas unidades produtivas ga\u00fachas, portanto, distribu\u00eddo em diferentes regi\u00f5es do Estado. \u00c9 um plano consistente, que j\u00e1 est\u00e1 em andamento e que esperamos concluir em um prazo agressivo, at\u00e9 2023″, destacou Wesley Filho, presidente da JBS Am\u00e9rica do Sul e da Seara.<\/p>\n

“\u00c9 um volume grande de investimento e distribu\u00eddo em pouco tempo, pois confiamos muito no estado. O Rio Grande do Sul j\u00e1 era importante para n\u00f3s e se tornar\u00e1 cada vez mais”, completou.<\/p>\n

O investimento total ser\u00e1 dividido da seguinte forma: 35% nas plantas de aves dos munic\u00edpios de Trindade do Sul, Passo Fundo, Caxias do Sul e Nova Bassano; 32% na unidade de su\u00ednos de Seberi; e 33% nas unidades de alimentos preparados em Bom Retiro do Sul, Seberi e Santa Cruz do Sul.<\/p>\n

A estimativa \u00e9 que a iniciativa vai gerar 2,7 mil postos de trabalho diretos e cerca de 10 mil indiretos.<\/p>\n

No in\u00edcio de fevereiro, a JBS anunciou que come\u00e7ou a constru\u00e7\u00e3o de uma nova f\u00e1brica, em Presidente Epit\u00e1cio, no interior de S\u00e3o Paulo. Na planta, que transformar\u00e1 coprodutos e materiais n\u00e3o aproveitados no processamento de carnes, foram investidos cerca de R$ 280 milh\u00f5es.<\/p>\n

Antes disso, a companhia anunciou tamb\u00e9m que investiria R$ 60 milh\u00f5es em sua f\u00e1brica de Jaguari\u00fana, tamb\u00e9m no interior de S\u00e3o Paulo, ampliando sua produ\u00e7\u00e3o de mortadela defumada.<\/p>\n

As movimenta\u00e7\u00f5es da JBS<\/strong> vem ap\u00f3s a companhia registrar um bom resultado no quarto trimestre de 2020, com lucro l\u00edquido saltando 65% na base anual e a receita, 33,1%.<\/p>\n
