Em entrevista ao jornal O Estado de S.Paulo<\/em>, Stelleo Tolda, presidente do Mercado Livre para a Am\u00e9rica Latina tamb\u00e9m disse que a companhia focar\u00e1 em “solucionar, facilitar e agilizar a entrega das vendas dos clientes\u201d, ap\u00f3s um forte crescimento na \u00e1rea financeira e no shopping virtual<\/strong> em 2020.<\/p>\n

Uma das d\u00favidas que surgem durante esse processo de investimento em log\u00edstica \u00e9 se o Mercado Livre estaria interessado nos Correios<\/strong> em uma eventual privatiza\u00e7\u00e3o<\/strong><\/a>. Segundo Tolda, a estatal “n\u00e3o \u00e9 pensada na efici\u00eancia que buscamos”. \u201cComo brasileiros e grandes usu\u00e1rios do servi\u00e7o, queremos que ele melhore sempre, mas nosso modelo \u00e9 outro”, afirma o executivo.<\/p>\n

A maior aten\u00e7\u00e3o dada ao Mercado Envios<\/strong>, nome da \u00e1rea de log\u00edstica, \u00e9 refletida justamente na rela\u00e7\u00e3o com os Correios nos \u00faltimos anos. Se at\u00e9 2017 cerca de 95% das entregas do Mercado Livre eram feitas pelo servi\u00e7o estatal, hoje essa propor\u00e7\u00e3o caiu para 5%. N\u00e3o \u00e9 incomum vermos os furg\u00f5es amarelos do Meli rodando nas grandes capitais do Pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n

A ideia da gigante do e-commerce \u00e9 transformar o Mercado Envios assim como ocorreu com o Mercado Pago<\/strong>, \u00e1rea de servi\u00e7os financeiros da empresa.<\/p>\n

Criado para solucionar os problemas dos vendedores parceiros, o bra\u00e7o financeiro demorou 10 anos para formar uma robustez suficiente para ser relevante dentro da plataforma.
